but she did wait….she waited and waited until she got an opportunity. She didn’t try to go out for herself. 

^^^waited until she had a guy she hardly new, one that had broken into her house, to take her.

 was a really dumb decision, given all she’d been taught about the world outside her tower by mother gothel, that men were horrible creatures. i won’t knock the fact that she had some inkling that the outside world wasn’t so bad, i’m all for just knowing about something, having a gut instinct, but it’s wrong on a character level and logic level to go with some random man, especially one who clearly wants to get rid of you.
